A grey heronbird (blauwe reiger) in the Zweilanderpolder near Leiden.

One more trial to get a sharp photo of this impressive bird with my camera. I used curves in gimp to make the green darker (better contrast) and increased sharpness thereafter by about 40 points.

Hello Mike,
Very nice capture of the Heron striding along.
You're lucky to have got so close to one! It would be a good idea to include your EXIF details above. It looks a bit oversharpened in PP here and as the Heron was moving maybe you should have used a higher speed? Even so pretty good!
