Banded darter
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The Banded Darter, like most members of the genus, has a red abdomen. Its primary distinguishing feature however is the presence of broad black bands across the outer section of each wing. |

Hello Ton,
Amazing picture. Very nice composition. The poor dragonfly is entirely wet. I like very much the droplets on the wings. Excellent sharpness. Great colours. The parallelism between the two twigs on the right of the picture is amazing too.
Cheers,
Mariki

Hello Ton,
This is a lovely shot with an excellent morning light and composition. I like very well the graphical effects of the plants and the droplets on the dragonfly. TFS,
Catherine
This is a beautiful photograph Ton. The composition is stunning with those wonderful grass stalks (?) The toning colors are so nice and the detail is stunning against the soft background. Excellent work!!

Hello Ton,
This is a very special image as you cought an intersting moment. Insect covered with water drops look great as you have rendered it in good sharp image with naturaly rendered colo r tones.
Thank you for sharing,
