Very sharp and crisp capture of this rather large Fly, Marie.
The colours and details on both the subject and the flower are excellent.
I notice that the wings look almost 3-dimensional.

Hello Marie,
an admirable macro of this fly which is a difficult object in particular in bright light.
I shot a very similar picture of that species from a comparable point of view and also
also with the fly on white small flowers. I will post it later.

Onvoorstelbaar, dat je al die insectensoorten uit elkaar kunt houden. Ik ken een huisvlieg en een bromvlieg, maar dan heb je het wel gehad.

Hello Mariki,
An excellent macro of M. meridiana, a species of Muscid that is not as common now owing to the use of medicaments in cattle. In fact I haven't seen one this year.
I like the POV taken with good sharpness and set in a fine composition. Excellent use of flash.
