[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The nice thing about making pictures of the same species is that you get used to their habits. This black-tailed godwit was flying just over me because he or she thought i was dangerous for their chicks. One of the parents stays nearby the chick and the other passes over low, just for checking out.. With a lot of yelling, like communicating to the other what i am doing..

I have tested a lot using the firmware crack of the 300D.. I stopped using AI Servo, now i am using a preset with 1/1000 of a second...

Used PS CSII for PP
Bit cropped
noise ninja for noise reduction
sharpened with Smart Sharpening
16bit to 8 bit
resized for the internet..

This is a great capture!
Very sharp,good detail,nice colour,perfect composition.
TFS!

Very good shot! This is the first time I can recall seeing a flying wader on TN, and you've done an excellent job of capturing it too. As has already been said, it's sharp, and well exposed, and the catchlight is a nice touch. What else would I do? Probably run Shadows/Highlights across it, you can get the plumage to uniform lighting quite easily (Shadows 100%). Well captured :-D

Nice shot, a very quick and lovely composed. Well done.

Olger
Thats a neat shot. A clean and simple composition, good sharpness, right amount of blur to suggest motion, the bright spot in the eye makes it more life like. Very well done.
