Plante photographiée au parc naturel de Ooost-Maarland au Pays-Bas.
Cette plante est un beau specimen de bardanne (Arctium lappa). Elle est remarquable car c'est grace à elle que l'on a aujourd'hui maitrisé la technique du velcro. L'inventeur s'est en effet inspiré de ses fruits qui s'accrochent aux poils des animaux aussi bien qu'aux pulls des promeneurs pour mettre au point son système de fermeture par "scratch".

We call them Burs and they come from the Burdock plant, these are very well seen.

La lumière éclaire agréablement cette plante et la note est très instructive.

Rob may call them burs but to me they are StickyBuds. We collected them as children and walked around surreptitiously flicking them onto the hairy clothes of the adults. 8-)
Nice cross-lighting, tight sharp focussing of a plant I haven't seen in years.
