As you all probably know swans mate for life, however in this case the female is almost drowning. This photo is part of a nice sequence made in the OVP, one of the best places in the netherlands to capture some wildlife on the sensor.
No birds were harmed during the shooting of these photos, they ended their mating with a small dance and a kiss :)
