This is very good, Jaap! Details on body (wings attachements) and head are very sharp and explicit. Head details are well shown and the large DOF helps you to get left and right arms well in focus. Amazing framing: looks like the letter "A"!

I realy never saw those details. You have no idea that they look like this when you see them fly.
Great shot.
I made more myself so keep watching, the dragonflies coming up.
My last one was indeed hard to shoot. I have to magnify too much in the computer. Time for an otherr camera. (I will first try to sell some pictures.)

Hi Jaap - yes, she is looking - with her sharp eyes. One more perfect shot.
The colours are marvelous, looking like metallic. This are the most interesting insects for me, I like them very much.
I would be very interested to know, which lense you use, because I want to buy a good makro for my new camera - I also like to make a perfect shot like yours - once in a lifetime!

Hello Jaap, This is a dramatic POV and I think you are correct..it's got the "look"! If I'm not mistaken I see a small insect (or what's left of it), in its mouth?? Although some quality has been lost due to your cropping, still well worth posting to TN..Well done my friend.

This is real close, and the eyes are amazing.
The POV is great, nice colours, good DOF and nice colours.
As Howard mention, you lost some quality during the cropping but it's still a very good.

Very beautiful composition, I like the position satby the insect. We would say a caméraman behind its objective following a tennis match. The neatness of the head and the body is remarkable and colours are fantastic. I find you very fortunate to be able to find so good subjects. Bravo!
