[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a sunday morning we walked in the Kroondomeinen on the Veluwe, a beautiful area in the Netherlands. My eyes were cought by this simple scenery of chestnut trees. Especially the nice greens and the look between the trunks formed a nice composition, at least to my opinion.. My wife is not agree, she said that that the picture is too simple for uploading on Treknature.

I like the simple form but feel it would look better if image is croped diffrently, See workshop.

Hello Ruud

Lovely shot. Lots of good colours. I like the depth of theimage showing the trunks. Lovely work. TFS.

Hi Ruud,

I like the idea, but I agree with your wife ... it's a little too simple to hold ones attention for a long time. I like the ws by fungiman btw. TFS!

Regards,
Pieter

Hello Ruud,
its the simple things in life that sometimes bring more joy than anything else. Well seen
and captured. I like it.

Thomas

Hoi Ruud,
Mooie diepte en mooie zachte kleuren geven dit plaatje prettig ogend beeld. Ik vindt de natuurlijke kader van het gras en de bladeren erg mooi en geeft het die perfecte diepte. Wat kan de lente toch mooi zijn.
Groeten,
Niek

Walk softly and don't carry a big stick...

This is a lovely photo. ( Oops, I don't want to get on your wife's wrong side!!! )

The proposed truncation by fungiman would not be my choice.
I have started a new thread on that item. If I were to cut I would only start at the bottom. But the grasses are too tall... ;)

The march down the hill of these trees is well seen and well captured.

Jay, Nova Scotia

PS Wish we had woods like that!
