Hi Pieter,
A second lovely shot of this beautiful toads !!
Colors and light are excellent.
I find just that the toad is too much centred but tt remains one very beautiful photo.

Hello Pieter, Excellent low POV. Very well composed for this type of shot slightly off-center left..Great sharpness, details, colors and light. Light fill might've brought-up the left side of your subject BUT, I like the effect here..Well done!

I know this frog ;-) This second shot is nice too. On the first picture we saw better the details on skin. On this second, we can see better the expression to the frog that I like. Its mouth is funny and like that :(

Wow, Pieter, enjoy your trip. British Columbia is gorgeous, I know you'll have a great time. I expect to see lots of wonderful photos when you return.

The photo is fantastic, your DOF is spot on. The left side of the frog is just a touch dark but I guess you'd have to use a fill flash to fix it and then he'd probably be washed out! LOL!

Again good capture with nice light and details Pieter. I like the composition with this one. If I had to nit-pick Id say the shot looks to green and I would probably have used a warming filter in PS to compensate for this. 7/10 Well done.

I love the expression on this frog. An amphibian with attitude! Focus very sharp, wonderful POV and composition. Have a wonderful time in British Columbia. And I can't wait to see the pictures you will bring back from that beautiful place. TFS. : )

NIce shot, I love the toads warty skin.
Nice OOF BG makes the toad stand out.
I like the shot how it is but you could crop a little more off the left so the toad is off center.
I like the texture of the wood the toad is on.

This is a great photo, Pieter, perfect composition and POV, great background. My only nit is the visible sharpening halo around the toad's head. Normally I don;t think you'd notice it as it's very thin, but because the background is so blurred, it stands out.

Pieter, I would have cropped a bit tighter to show those beautiful details and focus you have here. It looks a bit small into the 800 pix TN offer, you know I like them BIG :D

Hi Pieter, lovely shot with a great DOF that really makes the subject stand out. I might have cropped just a little off the left of the image for the sake of composition but I like the way you've placed the toad in its setting, not too closely cropped all around. Nicely done :)
