what a wonderully crisp photo. I tried somethign similar a few days ago, but everything landed on all the other flowers and not the one I was setup for. Such is life.

Hi Mike, This is very nice. I love the colors and the details are very nice. I do think the brightness is a bit high and by tweaking the brightness/contrasts you will see an improvement. Try it and let me know.

Mike,

Another excellent macro shot. Both the colors of the flower as well as the hoverfly are impressive. Sharpness is spot on. I think I need to buy a flash to in order to be able to decrease the aperture on my macro shots and not having too slow shutter speeds like you doing for your pictures.
