Herons normaly are knowned for their hunting on fish and frogs. But a lot of herons like the taste of mouse aswell.. They are good at hunting them, this heron picked two of them in maybe 10 minutes that i have observed him.. Its a fascinating sight to see them just stand so still and focusing on prey..

An excellent catch, one I have been trying to get myself. The detail is good, would suggest maybe a closer crop though in order to get more detail on that mouse. Good work.
