Treebark and Forest
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Picture taken at the Oisterwijkse Vennen in the rain by using an umbrella. Clouded sky and poor lighting conditions, ISO-100 only camera.
Here you get a close look at the bark of a tree from a low perspective, with the forest in the background.
Today is a great day. After almost two years, I finally figured out how to go about correcting a picture from a camera with poor white-balance with a simple standardized processing procedure that always produces fully optimized results.
And guess what: it works !
Whereas the other pictures I have posted are still somewhat off, the sharpness, color-balance and brightness/contrast-levels of this picture should be dead-on accurate.
Keep in mind that this picture is a level-3 compression JPEG (one level above low-quality JPEG, where loss of quality already has set in) from a simple ISO-100 only, auto-focus only 2.1M camera with extremely poor Whitebalance, that costs less than $100,-
