| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The siskin or carduelis spinus is a small, lively finch, which is smaller than a green finch. It has a distinctly forked tail and a long narrow bill. The male has a streaky yellow-green body and a black crown and bib. There are yellow patches in the wings and tail. It is mainly a resident breeder in great parts of europe.
The siskin on the photo is a male. |

Ha Zeno,
Wederom een mooie shot van een kleurige vogel, ziet er allemaal scherp en gedetalieerd uit en een leuke natuurlijke achtergrond.

Hi Zeno,
this could also be a shot from my archiv - I have 200 shots of this bird, I think there must be about 50 birds around in my garden - and they are sooooo hungry - and sooooo cute.
I like your shot very much, very well done
