This morning one of the 4 young born swans (yesterday) looked over the edge and fall down. Parents in panic. Without hands it is hard to help.
After a strugle he managed to climb back on to the nest.

Today on treklens: motherday look

There are still 3 eggs left.

At midday one more swan was born! So now 2 eggs to go.

Hi Hendrik,
Lovely shot. Color, sharpness, composition and opportunity are great.

Hallo Hendrik,
Wat een fantastisch familie tafereeltje, leuke compositie.
Groetjes
Vivian

Nice one Hendrick , an intrest moment of drama well caught.I would think it is unlikely the remaining eggs will hatch, in my experience they seem to hatch within 12 hours of each other and leave the nest 24hrs later.
TFS yours Robert
