Is this also a Syromastes marginatus like the one posted by Nicolas Dodo (softflower)? I have never seen this one before.
I forgot to mention the postprocessing: exposure correction when taking in the RAW and levels and a little bit of cropping. |

Ik zou niet echt weten wat het precies is, Maar je hebt er iets moois van gemaakt. Prachtig kleuren goede dof,

What an interesting critter. The colours and detail are handled very well. The abdomen just a bit soft. Do you know what they eat?

Nice picture Jan. Around the subject is a little bright especially on the plant hairs it is also a shame the abdomen is slipping out a touch (especially as the insect is viewed from behind) but I know it's difficult with this size.It certainly is a strange looking bug and those antennae look like they survive a war. We have a similar species here in the UK, it is dark brown, I may post it one day. Well done.
