| This is a White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) nest, located next to a tower view point, looking out over an area called Duursche Waarden, a natural area in the forelands of the river IJssel. I sat there and waited a few minutes for one of the stork parents to return with a meal for the three young in the nest. |

Nice action here... cool family shot :)
It is not so easy to shot B&W animals and get excellent details on both areas. You have good details on your shot only on few places the white areas are overexposed.

Hi Paul !
White storks are the symbol of the Alsace, the french region where I live - they are very important for the people here, and I also like them very much. You have captured a lovely moment between a mother and her youngs. Excellent details, colors, composition and POV, and a beautiful blurry BG. Very well done !

Great POV and very pretty happy family shot,it's very unusuall to see more than one young in the nest, here where I live they only raise one at the time.
