So now and then the beautifulk white swans like to dig in the mud looking for roots of waterplants. This is the female swan with her mud mask.

Hendrik, she sure has a dirty face - looks like very black soil. And I love the drops of water falling from her bill. You are wonderfully close to her, good job,

Very original pic. Detailed and well composed.
I had to laugh from it, and think to a portrait of my daughter I did, at 1 year old after a meal.

Je collectie zwanen is super. Deze is prachtig omdat je zo dicht bij hebt kunnen komen en voor de water druppels aan de snavel. Het detail in de veren is heel erg mooi.

Ik vind je zwanen erg goed. Dit is ook weer een erg mooie!! Je ziet de druppels erg scherp. Ondanks de modder een geweldig mooi beest dat je weer goed op de gevoelige plaat heb weten te krijgen.. !! ; )

Great shot, nice pose, I can't believe how dirty her face is, good detail too, you have captured how wet her feathers are with all the droplets over her head, well done to be so close.
