Annick:
This isn't one of the sea-eagles (genus Haliaeetus), it's a true eagle (genus Aquila). My best estimate, especially if it originated from India, would be Tawny Eagle Aquila rapax. It's a very fine portrait and I can find no fault with it. Excellent.
