[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I like this shot for its humour. To me it looks like the dragonfly is working the control column of a helicopter.

I cropped this shot a little and did the ususal PP: levels and some USM

Nice one Jan, it is a male Sympetrum striolatum (Common Darter). Good detail in the head area shame the abdomen is slipping out. Nice composition. Well done.

Kijk kijk,
Jan heeft ze ook gevonden. Ze zijn zo prachtig Jan. Echt als je de snaak te pakken hebt, ga je ze steeds vaker op de foto zetten. Good capture, nice colours, very good job you did here. En nog bedankt voor die koe.

Great macro Jan.

Tell him to check the flaps, oh hell helicopters doesnt have flaps, so tell him anyway!. Very nice capture and funny note. Thanks for posting!

Nice one. Very perceptive to notice him in his heli. :) Very good detail. Nice colours. Pity the tail is a bit "soft". Still good work done here.

Very nice common darter, colours and lighting are good . the DOF is a little limited by the F4 setting F8 or higher would of given a sharper image.
Any Idea what the plant is its sitting on?

Very nice effect with the plant material running through the bottom of the shot. I think coming up with the right caption many times is very effective in getting the viewers interest, right off the bat! Hey, I imagined that all the control columns are broken and he can't find one that works!!
