I know the picture in itself is not fabulous, but it is the first one in which I have gotten the facet-eyes sharp. So I thought I'd share nonetheless.
This is an Aeshna cyanea, one of the many that hatched from their pupae in my backyard. The color is very bleak, and that is because in the course of a couple of days, the true colors will emerge. |

oke hij is niet perfect maar je hebt wel lenzen en deze staan er fraai op, mooie compositie, zeer goed werk.

Great attempt!!, wonderful details on the eyes.But iam not sure about the camera you use, does it have an aperture control , if yes then try using higher apertures like f-8 - f-11 , you might get an excellent DOF

Hoi Wendy,
Mooie foto, maar zoals je al aangeeft niet perfect. Is moeilijk om een goede DOV to krijgen bij zo'n shot zeker als je geen tripod gebruikt. Het is mijn in ieder geval nog niet gelukt om zo'n extreme marco te maken.
Goed gedaan.
