Hello Jaap!
It is a very beautiful butterfly, and you got good details on the black parts. I would have cropped a bit more at the left, to make the format more vertical, and leave the open space at the front of the insect, but composition is always a question of taste :)

What a nice specimen you have pictured. I like its thin long charming legs, smart clothes. The sharpness, details and colours of the butterfly image are perfect. The plant which the butterfly is sitting on is wonderful too as well as the fine BG – unusual by colours but very nice, colourful and excellent blurred, Very expressive and elegant picture, my friend. A beauty of a shot on this Longwing. Nice sharp detail in the head and body area. Fill flash exposure did a great job with the color saturation. Well seperated from the nice OOF backround.

Que bella composición nos presentas hoy querido amigo... el punto de vista captado es maravilloso con la mariposa en diagonal sobre tan bellas flores, brindando una visión aguda, clara y en foco de la totalidad del animal.
Me encanta el encuadre elegido con la percha sobre el vértice de la escena, además de los suaves y naturales tonos captados.
Excelentes detalles sobre todo de los ojos y trompa.

That beautiful composition presents us today dear friend... the captured point of view is wonderful with the butterfly in diagonal on so cute flowers, offering a vision razor sharp, clear and in focus of the entirety of the animal.
I love the elected framing with the hanger on the vertex of the scene, besides the captured soft and natural tones.
Excellent details mainly of the eyes and trumpet.

Nice capture, nicely composed shot, and I like the pose with the Butterfly holding onto one of the buds on the twig, nice details but could be a little sharper on the wing tip, really nice colous and a great BG.

A wonderful butterfly you have here!
I like the strong contrast between the the dark colors and patterns on its bedu and the brighter parts of the blurred BG.
I also like the good details, the POV and the composition.
I don't know exactly what were the condition but i also would have tried a bigger DOF (maybe f/16) to have a little more sharpness on the edges of the wings...bit this is a minor detail.

This one earned you a lot of well deserved point Jaap. It is a tiny bit soft but other qualities make up for that. I love that OOF abstract background. All the colors are so well coordinated. I like all the angles...and I love this long legged lady. Thanks for sharing a great shot.

le POV est ideal pour placer le papillon devant un BG qui le met en valeur,
la netteté est extreme sur la tête,rien a dire de ce coté.
le dof est un peu limite sur le bout des ailes malgres le f/11.
un bon cliché dans l'ensemble.

What a lovely long wing specimen you presented to us. The colours on the BG of this shot and those of the flowers are rather unusual and striking while it fits very nicely with and echoes the colours of the butterfly.

The composition is fine, the details are sharp, and the lighting was well managed.
