| The common daphodil is called paardenbloem )Horseflower' in Holland. Maybe the most abundant flower in the city and the most beautiful one. |

Hi Gerrit,
Welcome to TN! This post is a perfect one by its great colours saturation, exact exposore in flower and a nice dark background.
I'll looling forward to see more flower.
TFS, José M.
Welcome aboard Gerrit!
Let me start by helping you out here... the flower which you
rightly call a "paardenbloem" is actually called "dandelion" in English..., which in turn is derived from the French "tooth of lion" ...
But apart from that lil faux pas, you have a beautiful shot here! Very cheery to see this in mid-winter, eh!
Great colour , excellent sharpness! I look forward to many more! Jay

Hello Gerrit, welcome to TN. You start off with a good shot of the Dandelion. It is nice and sharp, good colours too. TFS
I think this weed grows world-wide, and is really quite a pretty flower.

PS Sorry - I forgot to come back!!
Cheers
