Hi Torbjorn,
It almost looks like winter has started. The reflection on the ice covered lake is really interesting. I like the way you have devided the photo into three different layers of color, with the warm colors in the FG and cool collors in the back. You might want to invest in a grad ND filter to overcome the OE in the sky. Great moody photo.

Well winter is definetly on its way for you... Ice already, but I really like the picture and you have caught the atmosphere well. it shows the moody sky up really well and the detail is great.

Nice pictured.

The place looks remarkable and you have captured it well.

The composition is nice, the colours are nice and it has lots of detail. IMHO writing should not be on such a good photo but rather on the frame.

I love your simple composition...great foreground, mid ground and background. The sharpness, details, and colors are great. I'd take Niek's advice about the graduated neutral density filter for bright skies.

Hi Torbjorn

I was browsing through your gallery today and i stumbled upon this one and i couldn't go without saying something about it: it's great and ORIGINAL!
This is something you don't see everyday on TN...and i like new things...especially if they turn out so good as this one! :)
The composition is simply wonderful and the relative simetry between the sky and its reflection in the icy water is outstanding.
The perspective towards the horizon is amazing and besides the beautiful dark and contrasting trees there, that mountain (partially covered by clouds) looks most impressive.
Also the green vegetation from the FG does great to brighten up the photo and also adds pretty much to the overall color palette.
The details are very neat and sharp throughout the entire frame, the exposure is impeccable and the POV is great.
Lovely vertical composition and framing.
All-in-all a fantastic photo!
