[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Number 4 in the "Northern Sunset"-serie. This picture is taken towards west and shows the "Boringsfjell" mountain. The far side of this mountain plunges into the Solberg Fjord. The climate is actually very different on the fjord side of the mointain from the side you see in the picture. There is a sharp distinction between coastal climate on one side - with "mild" winter temperatures (0C to -13C) on the west side and inland climate down to -30C on the east side, where I am lucky enought to be standing.

Outside the right edge of the picture, by the foot of the mountain, you will find the fjord village of "Sørreisa" with about 1500 inhabitants.

Hi Torbjorn,

The colors are again beautiful. Love the tones in blue and pink of the sky. Good details of the mountain and nice FG that gives dimension. Interesting small spot of sun reflection on one of the mountain ridges.

of your series I perhaps like this one best.
the blue and soft red colours are fantastic.
Also the composition with the irregular shaped mountain is beautiful.
