[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken during my Easter holiday in Hardanger, Norway. I think the picture shows the contrast and the nature of the rapidly changing weather in the norwegian mountains. The sun is shining, but not far in the distance a new snow storm is looming. A lone person is walking boldly into it, also showing how small a person is compared to nature. But even so, in sun or snow, we ski... :)

Post processing involved "layering" the picture in two parts - the sky and the snow, adjusting levels to remove some "washed out"-ness due to the sun, also adjusting curves to get a better contrast between the winte snoe and dark storm clouds. I also used the burn tool on the ski tracks, to get them more pronounced. I also used the burn tool on the small bush in the middle of the picture to get more contrast to it.
Framing was an easy "outer glow"-effect (size 3px and range 1% in Photoshop)

This is really a good first posting of you. The contrast between the snow and the sky is very heavy here. A very good captured moment. Informative note also.

The sky is really effective! I feel the frame may be a little narrow at the top...but that is just me being picky! It's a great picture.
