[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi gang!

Itīs been a while since i uploaded...eh...who am i kidding? I have only uploaded once...sigh. Shame on me. Well iīm back now from a weeks trip to Norway with some fresh shots. And it was also my chance to try out my new camera and lens: Nikon D200 / Sigma 10-20mm....marvelous lens for landscapes i found. Anywhoo...enough of my ramble. Thanks for taking a look at it.

P.S. I did not "Photoshop" that water...for those of you thatīs been to Aurland / Norway...youīll know how amazing that place is. #:O)

P.S II: Yes...i did use a Cokin gradiant filter for it. #:o)

Hi Andreas,
What a stunning photo. The light in the clouds is so beautiful. I like your POV, it creates a beautiful DOF, and draws my eyes to the beautiful colored water. I just bought the same lens myself and I am gald to hear that you like it a lot. Did you use any filters? I think I am seeing some color fringing on the left just above the tree in the rock.

You did not photoshop the water, but did you photoshop the sky ? ;-)
Or did you use some gradient filter on the camera here ?
Anyway, nice scenery.

Hello Andreas,

Seems glacial fed lakes have that marvelous color. I can see from some of the above comments that we want details. Give us details! What filters??? What else did you do to get such interesting effects? I too, have just bought that lens and am looking forward to using it.

Don't give credit to your new camera alone, Andreas. Your choice of perspective and selection of details too is immaculate. The landscape leaves a strong impact on me for its sheer beauty.
