This photo was taken on the mountain of "Vikanuten" in the Hardanger region of Norway. The mountain is a pretty steep climb from the fjord an up to the top, but you have a magnificent view the whole way up. On the ridgeline, making the mountain, you have a whole day worht of fun - like this little valley with green, green moss. Me and my dad went up here one hot summer day and enjoyed the great weather from this 3300 feet mountain. The mountains you see in the distance are in the other side of the hardanger fjord.

Hi Torbjorn,
Very nice landscape, rocks, moss. etc...
But what happend to the lake, it looks very artificial, as if you painted it in ?
Good composition and details.

Torbjorn,

A nice alpine view. You could PP a little and darken, sharpen the mountians in the back.

didn't get chance yesterday to critique this picture...

great view and a great composition, though I woudl have lost a little of the sky to make the picture less tall and a touch wider... but it is a lovely view and shows the natural drainage and boggy nature of mountain tops and small valleys...

looks like you have a very good day out...

Hei Torbjørn,
Good point of view to capture this typical landscape!
Fine details in the moss and rocks, all captured with natural colours...
Nicely balanced composition with good lines, taking my eyes to the mountains in a distance...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Nicely done, Torbjorn. Great subject and well recorded. The colors and contrast are amazing. I agre with Emma (Araok) on triming a bit from the sky -- I don't think you'd lose much and viwers would spend more time on the beautiful details in the bottom half.

Stunning composition. I love the way you are led through the photo to the patch of blue water. Wonderful colours and light. Beautiful.

As soon as I looked at your gallery I was drawn to this shot
