[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is always an adventure again, the Sognefjellet, road nr 55, guiding you over the "roof" of Norway. This year there was remarkable less snow than in other years. But also in this "dry" condition the mountain area Jotunheimen is incredible beautiful. Here in the centre you see the mountain Mjolkedalstinden (2.137 m) and left the Storebjorn (2.222 m). There were a lot of clouds this day, but nevertheless it was clear and again, typical for Norway, the light was fantastic useful.

Hi Ruud,
A very well composed landscape!
In spite this is mid summer there isn't much greenery to be seen, on the contrary still remains of snow around...
Good details, pleasantly dramatic sky!

I really like this picture, but can't help feeling you could have presented it a bit better.

That said you are really making me hope my husband gets the job he is after in Stavanger.

You're right about the light though it has a very nice quality to it - If I get chance tonight I'll do you a WS.

Ha Ruud,

Schitterend ruig landschap. Het doet me denken aan IJsland maar het is Noorwegen. Vooral de wolkenluchten daar staan me nog goed bij.Mooi plaatje!

Hoi Ruud,
Goed om weer een foto van je te zien. Je fotos van Noorwegen zijn altijd super. Het landschap in the FG ziet er erg ruig en mooi uit en de wolken partij geeft dit die extra umpf. Ik ben het wel eens met Emma over de presentatie, en ik denk dat ik weer wat ze gaat doen in haar WS. Maar verder, echt een plek waar ik naar toe wil.

Hi Ruud,
This is excellent, it's like an alien landscape, or perhaps something prehistoric. What a fantastic looking place. As you say great light, an excellent exposure and good detail throughout. Nicely framed with rising rocks on either side and a moody sky is a great finishing touch. Great shot.

Wat een prachtig gebied zeg! Noorwegen is ongelooflijk mooi! Dewolkenlucht is gewoon schitterend en de hele compositie ook. TFS!
