| 800m asl I was surprised these birds didn't fly away from me - getting within 15m from them. They had seen me for minutes. I suspected that some of her 4 children were too young to get on the wings, but other tell me that these mountain birds often prefer to run away. Well - these walked. I had to move around to avoid white sky background. |

A warm welcome on TrekNature. Your first posting is a very good one.
A very beautiful bird this Fjellrype. Often seen in your country but never succeeded in capturing one.
Composition and details are good, sharpness OK and fine natural colours. Good work Steinar.
I'm very curious to see more of this kind of pictures.
