[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Videseter in Norway is situated on the Strynfjellet (fjell= mountain) and is surrounded by mountains with glaciers of more than 2.000 meters. It is a well known place by the Norwegians for skiing in sommertime. During sommer, normally there is a lot of ice in the mountain lakes and a lot of snow in this region.
This year it was exceptional dry and warm all over the country, with the result that the snow was very little and what was left was mellted away.
Here from this place you have a marvelous view on Sunndalen.

Hoi Ruud!

I love views like this; a perfect valey, framed by mountains on each side. Norway is such a beautiful country. What worries me is the global warm up. It is very noticable in Alaska (I've been there in May) and now you're also talking about an exceptional dry and warm Norway. What's happening?

Regards,
Pieter

Hello Ruud,
An interesting composition, where you make nicely use of the shape of the valley to frame the summits in a distance!
Lovely rugged landscape very well captured, and presented in a fine composition!

Hi Ruud,
Interesting view through a valley on a chain of mountains in the back.
Impressive to read what you write about the snow just melting away.At the moment there is also a terrible lack of snow in the Swiss Alps.
Salutations
Anne

Precioso valle. Muy buena panorámica. Original disparo Ruud.

Hoi Ruud,
Groeten,
Niek
