[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sognefjellet, in Norway, is the road over the roof of Norway.
This road, build in 1938, is the highest Mountain pass in Northern Europe. Starting in the west, the road follows the famous Sognefjord to Sjkolden and from that place the climbing into the mountains starts. Within one hour driving the landscape is changing from pitoresk villages on the fjord, into a mighty, rough mountain area with outlooks on the highest mountains of Norway's National Park Jotunheimen.
The highest point of this road is 1.434 m above sea level. After that point, you complete the rest of the route of 110 km, to end in the touristic village Lom at the eastern part of this road.
When you have the opportunity, the Sognefjell-road is highly recommended. I'm sure that it is an unforgetable expierence for the most of you.

Hoi Ruud,
Een super mooi uitzicht, en ook erg mooi vastgelegd. Vooral de lead line van de rots is perfect gepositioneerd. Het torentje van stenen geeft natuurlijk de perfect voorgrond interesse. Je positie van de horizon en het meer samen met de erg mooie lucht maken de foto gewoon super. Zeker de moeite waard dit te onthouden als ik naar Noorwegen ga.

Hoi Ruud, het jaar 2007 begint voor mij erg verdrietig. Gelukkig zijn er ook mooie momenten waarbij lucht en ruimte kadootjes zijn. Deze opname weerspiegelt dit exact! Ik hoop dat er spoedig ruimte komt om te fotograferen.
Tussentijds hoop ik afentoe naar mooie opname op de site te kijken.
