Maybe some remember my red squirrel (Eurasian squirrel, Sciurus vulgaris) from a couple of days ago?

This is the same Silver Lady, maybe it was unfair to her to show her with the eyes closed hehehe…

“Silver” Lady is because of the emerging winter coat that is silver grey in her case, she has let me touch her fur and it is absolutely great, soft and thick to provide good insulation for cold days even if it is not yet fully developed.

Hello Pablo! Amazing scene. Wonderful shot. perfect contrast and sharp. Nice frame. Well done!

Great portrait of the 'Silver Lady', Pablo.
The eye in particular is so well captured I can see the moisture in it.
Fantastic sideways POV with the top light making those fresh white hair look so very sharp and crisp.
It is fun looking at the new genre you are engaged in these days.
Regards,
Ram

Hi Pablo and nice to see you back here, old friend!
I hope you are well :)

This is a lovely portrait from you!
The strong side-light effect on this cute squirrel is terrific and really sets this capture apart! The game of shadows and highlights it produces creates a great 3D view and makes your subject pop out so well form the scene!
Also, the great choice of DOF makes sure that the squirrel is all in great focus while still retaining that lovely blur in the BG.
Overall, a top shot from you!

Bravo and TFS

Hi Pablo,
superbs exploitation of the light. Ver sharp and the details are splendid. You have managed it very well in the emphasis of the squirrel's features.
Very pleasant and lively composition.

Hi Pablo,

The subject is well framed. The close-up view is showing the details and colors of the red squirrel eating a nut. It is clear and precise. The intensity of the light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Pierre

A wonderful shot Pablo,
I love to see squirrels with tufted ears like this. The detail is super fine and the colors are very natural.
The only squirrels we have here in Ohio are Pine, gray, black and fox squirrels.

Nice squirrel close up. I love the reflection in it's eyes and the closeness.
