Very nice composition of this river. You did well with the exposition and composition: we feel the cold just by looking at the pic! Snow is not arrived yet here in Quebec but it should be very soon... Same thing in Norway, I guess?

before i open this shot, i have thought it was a sunset shot and not taken in the middle of the day
i love the beautiful sky with the light between the dark clouds and also the reflection of this light in the river

I believe it makes quite a difference if one lives under these conditions or if one looks at them in a photography. From my point of view, this atmosphere simply is superb and I would love to live it: it's mystic, sensitive and so delightfully simple.

Anyhow - to the photo - well when I saw it, I knew instantly it was you. It is so very typical of your style which I love so much. colour are great - I love the grey's and blues and the leading river.

Hi Pablo,
Am I correct, is this your favorite river of which I've seen many photos from you?
I really love the muted light and the mood it created. The soft glow of the sun on the river adds that bit of warmth while the clouds and darkness gave it a more cooler feeling. The composition with the river drawing me deeper into it is wonderful.

Hi Pablo,

The curve of the river is an asset to the composition. It is leading my eye toward the mountains which is giving depth to the photo. I like the effect of the light which is giving nice colors to the sky, to the river and a set of shadow to the trees and mountains. Have a nice day.
