[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Was out walking with my D80 by the sea and then suddenly this seagull came passing by...just one shot..and I got it.Lucky?...yes. I have only crooped it a bit. This is my first post here, and I seen so many good shoots a this sight. I hope this one will do.

Hello Rolf. Welcome to TrekNature. This a great action shot you got. Your fast shutter speed stopped the gull's wing movement and it gives a great effect. The way you managed to positioned the subject works well to. Just a pity about the background. It is quite busy with the pylons and distracts from the gull. Maybe a larger aperture would have blurred the background a bit more. But hey, when these oportunities come along there is little time to do more than take the shot and hope for the best. This is a great picture to start your journey with the Treknature community. Welcome again and I am looking forward to seeing more of your work. Regards, Irmgard
