I have seen the same road in my backyard, only that it was made by my cats ! :-) It's a little less impressive than your moose, I think... Anyways, it is an excellent picture, I like composition very much. Really winter atmosphere.
I have enjoyed looking at your pictures in 2007, I hope you will keep posting as many wonderful photos in 2008

I don't think we have seen Elk tracks (the European Elk and the N. American Moose are subspecies) in the snow on TN before. Well composed shot symbolising steps into 2008! With that I wish you a Happy and prosperous New Year!

the random wanderings of animals and birds in the snow is really great and you have shown them really well here. The diagonal composition and dark BG at the top work really well against the snow and the bottom right hand corner.

First of all a big big THANK YOU for 'teaching' me, a lot of the things I know today, for the last 2 years. You are the,"THE" best.
We have a lot of moose & other wild life here in Alberta. They are not dangerous at all. In fact, very friendly.

I think the moose have have been into some fermented berries by the crooked tracks :D. I love the deep blue colour of the tracks against the snow.

This is my kind of shot! We even get the odd Moose in Ottawa,the capital city of Canada.They wander in from a local forest,and the people who consider themselves urbane hate it because it goes on the TV News and they think Ottawa will be considered back woods.LOL,They should consider themselves lucky that wildlife still exists in the wilds around the city.
I love the Moose path,it leads the eye through the shot.The snow has lovely sparkles too.
Moose can be very dangerous to motorists too,they can crush the roofs of the car that hits them and kill the occupants.Happens quite frequently here.
Anyway I really enjoy your Moose walk shot.

It has been a great year sharing and enjoying beautiful nature shots of different parts of the world. Although I joined only by the middle of the year.
We too have the menace of, not mooses, but blue bulls (Boselaphus Tragocamelus) in our gardens. They too, some times, become aggressive and attack, may be out of fear only.
