An enjoyable landscape presentation. The bush around the river and the green green grass gives this scene a wonderful depth of field. One gets such a warm and peaceful countryside feeling looking at this sight. From this posting, we see the Alder in their rightful place along the banks of rivers!
they really formed a beautiful pattern and adds a lot of beauty towards the whole area!

I'm kidding, of course you are right to show us that picture. It's the logical suit of what you want to show us. And it's also the demonstration of the difficulty to take a picture of pure nature. Oh, and thanks to this picture we can - once more - start the discussion of we, the human beings and our activities, are entire part of the nature or if we are apart...

Guess what my opinion is...

By the way, your picture pleases due to the fact that it shows the alder's habitat very well; also for the clarity, the depth of field and the superb colors.

This is a lovely pastoral scene with the river leisurely leading the eye around the different areas! Good, natural colours!

The w/s shows a good photograph too! The silvery bark does make a pleasing contrast with the green grass!

A nice country scenery which is shaped by the river. The point of view is giving depth to the photo. It is clear and precise. there is a good contrast between the colors. The picture is receiving a good luminosity which brings out the colors. Well done, have a nice day.

What a transparence of the image, what a richness of the colours, what an sharpness of the image and what a fantastic 3D-effect. But the main "What" is beautifulness of the pictured place, POV and composition of the shot. Once more work of great landscape writer. Thanks a lot and congratulations.

Indeed a photo with not only nature in it, but one in which nature is definitely dominant!
The "S" shaped of the river here is absolutely wonderful and creates a superb composition. Moreover, the border of alders near it enhances this shape and creates a bonus in contrast. Very well seen and captured here.
Beside the composition, i find this shot very well balanced in terms of light and colors.
To be honest, i'd love to have a little cottage of my own somewhere there :) I'm sure it's just a pleasure to wake up with such a view and smell that lovely clean air from all the green around you :)

Hi Pablo, very nice colour in this shot with great sharp detail. Yes you have some civilization in it, but it very nicely shows us what you were telling us in your notes on this tree. Workshop is great, nicely compliments your initial shot and gives us a good view of the tree.

What a wonderful landscape ! At first I was a bit surprise to find some'human activity' on the picutre, but well it is getting more and more dificult to find landscpaes without it - at least it is like that in Alsace. The river surrounded by meadows and trees and hills is very beautiful, it is the kind of place I widh I could live in ! :-) Excellent composition and POV, natural colors, beautiful place. Very well done !

Thanks for sharing this beautiful Norway. I like the patches of green pastures fenced by thick bushes giving pleasant view and the river make the composition a good high angle perspective. The colorful houses and the distant hill is so scenic with tiers of layers you have created in this composition.

Great view showing the habit of alders. There are almost no habitats have not been altered by human activity. Even the seemingly pristine Amazon Rainforest has been 'managed' for thousands of years. Likewise in most of Europe and Asia wildlife only survives by cohabiting with people.

I almost stopped at the lichens, Pablo, and perhaps will another time, because they are striking. But there’s something beguiling about a river. I love the way you’ve caught it meandering through the green. A fine composition, especially in terms of scope and color and contrast.
Charming! A great setting in which to show us these alders.

Fantastic compo, lovely landscape with the river having an "S" format well seen. Yes, there are some human-made structures on it, but they aren't dominant, therefore not disturbing here at all.
