Hallo Niek,
mooie compositie met een mooi laag standpunt.
Jammer dat de lucht niet zo mooi is maar de weerspiegrlingen in het water zijn wel weer heel mooi!

Mighty sharp lens...the underwater shows well...and you have down well the curves blending one into another. My mind wonders seeing grass and snow..with no notion or looking...I feel it is cool...

Hi Niek
Just a quick one now...trying to catch up after my trip last week :) Plus, even though i won't get to comment on all your photos, i will take speial time to look and read all about your Norway trip :)
This is a simply superb composition, with 3 main elements as the way i see it: that gorgeous waterfall (placed lovely in the frame), the great reflection of the entire BG and the lovely FG elements and the rocks that are visible through the water.
Very well exposed and beautifully framed!
Bravo and TFS

This is really nice Niek! I love the curve of green grasses leading around to the waterfall. The rocks in the foreground water are super, as they are all along the edge of the lake.. It is a lovely waterfall. Nice work.... again.

Hi Niek!
You got the exposure very good here, the composition is wonderful and again I love the place on a height that shows some snowy parts but also some unfrozen lake! Must have been a very nice trip to Norway. TFS!
Best regards,

Hi niek. Really good composition with some nice symmetry. Excellent sharpness and details. Its a shame there isnt a little colour in the sky, but that is out of our control!

This looks beautiful Niek.
The exposure is very good indeed, especially considering the difficult conditions.
The rock looks to me like limestone.
Is this an area with caves in it ?
24.5kms is a really long road tunnel!
Amazing.
Thanks for this.
Cheers

Hello Niek!
Waterfalls are not very often shown in TN gallery and I always like to see them. For the first view they are all "similar" - there is "only" falling water... But of course this is not true! :)
You picture has interesting, almost panoramic perspective and the waterfall is only a part of bigger composition. It allow to see a size of it. Very nice sharpness, colours and DOF.
TFS and have a nice weekend!
Greetings,
Radomir
PS. By the way, if you like waterfalls please see here, just for fun, not for points :>

Hi Niek!
Although the atmosphere is quite dark and somehow sad, I like it very much, probably for the melancholic aspect and the quiteness it respires. The overcast sky is, from my point of view, not a disturbing element and highlights the overall atmosphere.
Kind regards
Markus

Hi Niek,
a very well chosen POV with great natural colours. Perhaps getting a bit closer may have given the waterfall more impact as i think it's slightly lost in the wide angle...or are you going to suprise us with another shot from here i wonder?! The washed out sky is a pity, but you can only work with what you get given! (don@t i know it!)
well done and thanks for sharing,
Paul

Hello Niek. Your series of tall frame posts with wide angle making me want to try. I made one today but rather hesitate to post. This is so calm and tranquil image. At f13, the depth of field is brilliant. The details in the foreground is amazing with perfect camera tilt capturing the fall. Well done and thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend ahead and best regards. Jusni

Hello Niek,
Wonderful shot of the lake and waterfall - and in summer to see the snow - it can't have been too warm...
I like how we can see the pebbles in the water - very good focus too,
Well shot

Hallo Niek,
Opniew heel goed werk.

Hi Niek
This does make me want to go back to Norway. I went before I had an interest in photography and I would love to photograph a waterfall (we have no swift water in Sussex or the neighbouring counties). You composed this beautifully and the use of the circular polarizer really allowed us to see the details under the water. It makes a wonderful image, all cold and remote
TFS
