[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Briksdalsbreen (glacier) in Norway is one of the easiest glaciers to reach. After a stiff hour walking and climbing you reach this dazzling beautiful glacier. Especially when the light is also helping a bit you can really shoot wonderful pictures.
Here I tried to capture the contrast between the fabulous blue colours of the ice-mass against the brown rocks.

Hi Ruud,
I think you've achieved what you set out to do, a great contrast. The glacier looks as if it's eating the rock. Nice detail and colours, especially in the ice. Nice shot.
Regards,
Adrian

Thanks ana:)

I think that is a great photo. I have noticed that you like pattern and texture and have a good eye for composition. You have some really lovely shots in your gallery. The exposure, colors and sharpness are so nice here. TFS

A very interesting and unusual capture, Ruud.
The color in the ice is amazing.
Very sharp details on both rocks and ice.
I like it a lot. TFS. : )

Hoi Ruud,
Groeten,
Niek

Hi Ruud, I love the colours of these glaciers. Such a prretty green/blue and always the dirty browns too. This is good to see the contrasting colours of the ice and the rocks, especially the patterns. Well done,
Janice

Ruud

I have always been amazed at the colours of the glaciers and glaciated waters and this is no exception - you have shown the colour very well.

Hello Ruud,
Excellent details from the glacier!
Interesting to actually SEE how the ice is polishing the rocks, as this is the way many of our landscapes have been formed from the beginning...
Pleasant composition with fine details!
Greetings,
