| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is one of my first attempts of a "plant portrait". It was taken at sunset, obviously, in a forest at Andsfjell. Im very new to this kind of photo technique and im very keen to get feedback to improvements. Im not sure if the background is to messy or if the different colours works here, or if maybe the whole thing is just way boring. I like the warm colours and the light on the straw with the contrasting sky in the back - but please tell me how to get better at this.
PP: Adjusting white balance a few degrees warmer. A tiny tweak of curves and a little bit of dodging of the straw itself. USM. |

Hi Torbjorn,
good composition, lovely colours of dusk... giving the plant a look of being a 'Gold Plant'

Hello Torbjørn,
Funny thing, but I did exactly the same capture last weekend..!
You do quite well here, the straw is sharp, well lit and with good details...
Maybe the background is a tad disturbing, since the light intensity is this varied?
It is a pleasant composition with good colours!
Greetings,

I have just noticed this one. It's underestimated but has a nice mood. I like the last sun rays playing in the grass seeds.
Nice one!
Best greetings,
Michal
