[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Lognvikvatn (vatn = lake) is connected with the much bigger Totak lake, close to the Raulandsfjell in Norway.
I was caught by the very peaceful view on this inspiring lake. It was close to sunset on a very nice and warm evening in Austbo, in Telemarken.
The atmosphere of the landscape was serene and calm. There was no noise from human activities, the only noise was produced by some birds on the lake. It was like in a fairy-tale and it was really worthwhile just to sit and expierence the beautiful scenery.
Hope that this picture reflects my expierence.

Fijne avond groet reina

Hoi Ruud,
Groeten,
Niek

I really like the line of trees across the bottom of this picture with their great refelction in contrast to the water behind them.

nicely done & TFS

Hi Ruud,
I visited a finland not so long ago and I already then put Norway on my list of places to visit....indeed it looks a beautiful place from your images. You have captured a lovely landscape image...I like the low light giving a calm and peaceful emotion. The division of the water gives scale and depth.Well done.

Wow, thats a great long line of reflections! As a big reflections fan - my photo genes tingle as I see this picture!
It surely looks like a beautiful and calm scene - with just the sound of birds in the background - ahh, what more can one want?!
Nice shot!

Hello Ruud,
Very interesting landscape photo, almost like a painting. Nice dim tones and very good symetry (trees/reflections) along the ditch.
Best greetings,
Michal

This is interesting Ruud with that perfect line of trees reflecting in the foreground pool. The image looks undersaturated on my monitor. IT was however better once I opened on my desktop as I think it might have been before you uploaded it. You might try adding a bit more saturation or darken images some before uploading. Also applying a sRGB color profile before uploading sometimes helps too.

As I am personally fond of tight compositions, another option may be to bring the image in a little on the sides avoiding leaving half trees. I'd also crop out some of the OE sky as it really doesn't add anything to what I see as the subject of the picture...this intersting row of trees and their reflections stretching across this larger body of water.
