Hi Pablo,
An excellent shot of nature reclaiming the old stump. Great rich colors and nice detail. I love the texture shown in such old wood. It is amazing how many other life forms use the old decomposing stump to survive. Well done!
Scott

Pablo,
The mushrooms will grow out of it & eventually
consume it totally within about 50 years or so.
However, this is a GREAT capture.
The light in the foreground caught my eye at once.
Excellent contrasts.
Very well presented.
Best regards, Mario.

Preciosa composición. Buen ojo para fijarte en estos pequeños detalles... agradable esta imagen en la que podemos ver cómo la naturaleza en ocasiones paga bien por mal.
Saludos y que pases una buena semana Pablo.
JL.

Hi Pablo,
Nice to show us part of life cycle of this pine tree. Other plants start to grow on this decomposing tree stump.

Hola Pablo, la naturaleza todo lo conquista, el suelo del bosque esta lleno de vida, buenos detalles y buena composición... saludos amigo.PT

Hello Pablo !

I love these old stumps, they are always full of insects, moss and mushroom - they become a small ecosystem on their own, allowing a lot of different species to live.

The picture is very beautiful, with nice natural colors and a wonderful light. I also like the composition of this picture. Very well done !
Valerie.

Hi Pablo,

This are the places for mushrooms next year, around these stump, yes the nature take and gives! Really colours and very nice composition, lovely nature shot!

Have a nice Tuesday,
John

Hi Pablo,
I like the way that nature is claiming its share of the tree by the moss and the others small plants. The colors of the dead pine tree are very beautiful. I've heard that when you wait for a few more years you can detract the resin from the roots by burning the roots and use those to make something water proof. (seen on the program from Ray Mears)
I do find the pieces of grass that are OOF a bit disturbing.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Pablo,
What a great idea! Again, a simple subject but so complex at the same time and this is something that we don't take time to observe. This is really nice. I like all those kind of vegetations working to take back this stump to its starting point. This is a nice way to illustrate this great process. You caught excellent details in a very good POV and composition. I love this lightning and texture! This is really well done and TFS,
Claudine

Hi Pablo,

A great shot of this old stump. And what a great idea to take such a picture. Most of the time we see trees in full, you show us how nature is reclaiming the tree.
I like the colours and composition and the details on the different vegetation look excellent.
Well done!

Greetings, Nel

A touching image of the cycle of life, Pablo. To think that at one time this pine tree must have stood tall and erect, and now reduced to a rotting, organic remanant on the ground soon to turn into dust it grew from. The neighbourhood living organisms have already taken over the process. Makes me think of the Terrible Mother C.G. Jung talks about in his postulates on psychology -- a Mother that gives birth and also devours what she gives birth to.
I find the appeal in this simple image essentially at that level of consciousness. Your words that it is "being taken back by nature" triggered in me the process of perception of the idea of Nature you have tried to convey through this potent image.
Thanks.
Ram

Hi Pablo,

A good POV of the old stump, the photo has a good composition, sharpness and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

A entire world will survive soon on a stump. I love lichens. I bought and planted moss in my garden.
