Hello Arkadiusz,

I am so full of admiration of you for this shot. You have captured this kingfisher with perfect colours and excellent details. Nice dof.

I sat on the riverbank for over an hour, having been told that a pair of kingfishers were nesting nearby. All I mananged to see in that time was a flash of turquoise as the bird whizzed past.

Hey this is a great photo, I love these little birds and I try to capture shots of the Kingfishers we have here in NZ. They can be incrediably hard to get up close shots of them. They have beautiful colours as we can see here. Just today I edged closer and closer to one, on my knees, trying to look less scary. Still I wasnt able to get up very close. So great work getting this shot.

in aquarel and in oil
