Siskins (Carduelis spinus) around the feeder wage war even if there is plenty of space for each of them. They fly together and feed together in herds.

hi Michael

I think this is a superb shot, even with flash. The action freeze is well done and I really like the element of 3 birds on the left side showing the feeder in stark contrast to the BG blur color. The bird in stationary position at the right is a bonus feature.

I can see that 1/500 is still unable to freeze the wings but it might as well, to show the motion blur of the wings very nicely :)

Great work, IMO.
