Przestrojnik trawnik
Aphantopus hyperantus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wierzch skrzydeł brunatnoczarny z jednym lub dwoma niewielkimi oczkami na każdym ze skrzydeł. Spód skrzydeł oliwkowobrunatny z dużymi, żółtawo obwiedzionymi, czarnymi oczkami z białą źrenicą. Na przednim skrzydle występują 3 oczka, na tylnym - 5 oczek.Rozpiętość skrzydeł: 36 - 44 mm
W poszukiwaniu pokarmu odwiedza nektarodajne kwiaty preferując kwiaty fioletowe. Chętnie siada z rozpostartymi skrzydłami.
Gąsienice przepoczwarczają się stojąc pionowo u podstawy kęp traw.
Gąsienice żerują nocą ogryzając liście traw. Zimują w przyziemnej warstwie roślinności.
Samice składają jaja podczas lotu nad terenem odpowiednim dla rozwoju gąsienic.

Hello Alina,
this belongs to the best hyperantus pictures at TN with respect to
focus and sharpness. The lower margin could be a bit broader, in my opinion.

Hi Alina,

This is an excelent photo of the butterfly. The light you have captured is excelent showing well the colors of the butterfly. Image sharpness is amaising showing even the finest detais of wings structure not to mention the pattern.
