Dostojka latonia - Issoria lathonia (Linnaeus, 1758)

Zewnętrzny brzeg przedniego skrzydła poniżej wierzchołka lekko wklęsły. Na spodzie tylnego skrzydła duże srebrzyste plamy. Na spodzie przedniego skrzydła dwie drobne, srebrne plamki w okolicy wierzchołka. Rozpiętość skrzydeł: 40 - 48 mm.
Motyle latają szybko i wytrwale. Żywią się nektarem - zwłaszcza ostów.
Poczwarki są zawieszone za kremaster na łodygach roślin pokarmowych gąsienic.
Gąsienice żerują na liściach fiołków (Viola spp.).
Samice składają jaja pojedynczo na liściach fiołków.

Hello Alina,

The sharpness of this photo is excelens. Together with the well cjosen DOF insect can be seen in great details. Even if the head is somehow soft wings pattern can be well seen. Colors look natural and makes a fine contrast with the beckground.

Hello Alina,
I like the selected point of view and the sharpness you achieved which includes nearly the whole wing surface.
I had suggested to focus a bit more on the head which appears slightly blurred.
Composition is very nice.
