Chrysosplenium alternifolium, family Saxifragace. Range:Europe, including Britain, from Scandanavia south to C. France, east to C. Asia and the Himalayas. In whole Poland.
Habitat:
by the sides of streams, wet rocks and wet ground in woods, usually in shade.
Flowers - early spring
Raw leaves may be (maybe) added to salads. It is a good ground cover. |
