I have found this fungus in the forest and I cannot say anything of it, except perhaps it's height - about 12 - 15 cm. Can anybody help me to identify this fungus?
28-07-2007 Thanks help of "extramundi" now I know its name - this is Laccaria amethystina.

I think it is Laccaria amethystina.
Youdid very well to go down to the ground finding goof POV and getting the subject out ouf the BG.
If you use a flash difusser in this shots (p.e. paper hankerchief) you would get better control on the lights exposure.
