The Oyster mushroom, or Pleurotus ostreatus, is a common mushroom prized for its edibility and lack of confusing look-alikes. The Oyster Mushroom is wide-spread in temperate forests throughout the world. It is a saprophyte that acts as a primary decomposer on wood. Size: 5-25 cm broad, fan or oyster-shaped; Natural specimens range from white to gray or tan to dark-brown; margin inrolled when young, smooth and often somewhat lobed or wavy.

Witam Tadeuszu!
Zdjecia takie jak to przypominaja, ze nieodwracalnie cieple miesiace sa juz za nami, a jesien zagoscila na dobre :)
Bardzo fajna perspektywa i kompozycja fotki, dzieki takiemu punktowi widzenia latwo mozna zobaczyc grzyba wlasciwie z kazdej strony - i czesc dolna i wierznia i oczywiscie "profil" :)
To co natomiast bym zmienil to usunal nieszczesna galazke oraz wiaderka na grzyby (?) wchodzace w lewym, dolnym rogu (wychodzi zza drzewa troszke niepotrzebnie ;>), ale zdaje sobie sprawe, ze czesto dopiero w domu, na spokojnie widzimy, ze cos wiecej znalazlo sie w kazdrze niz bylo w planach :)

Nice photo of Pleurotus ostreatus, although the closest mushroom's out of focus, unfortunately. But otherwise quite a good photo. Regards, László
