[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In spring on my balcony family of Linet have done nest then every day in the nest appeared new egg. After six days were six eggs. The male was singing about the nest, feed female as it visible at this photo. There on 8th day flew in Jay and all eggs took from the nest. It was tragedy for family and for me it was very sadly period.

Hello Pawel,
What a sad story, but at least you got a very nice capture of the parents. I doubt a Jay would come that close to a house here but Linnets often try to nest in conifers near houses. I find them quite shy though.

Hello Pawel,
A very loving and touching moment captured on film!! Excellent detail with natural colors and just the right amount of exposure.
Sorry to hear how things turned out in the end for this family of Linets. I had the same thing happen to a nest of Bluebirds in our back yard.
