Hi Adrian,

This is a very good macro of the spider! Your image has an excelent DOF showing great detaisl over all spiders body. Very well light management rendering nice natural colors. Last but not least you got in your photo a good moment with the spider feeding.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

Extraordinary shot! One of the best spider photos I have ever seen. Great sharpness, and the pov make this special. Good action shot.

Great spider image Adrian, I like it.
Very good POV, because it shows the face/head/eyes and palps so well..Also well seen are the abdominal markings and encased prey.
Nice details, exposure, colors, point of focus, and DOF.
Well done!
Howard

Hallo Adrian
Although I also posted an image of a spider not so long ago I would not say spiders are one of my most favourite topics, but I cannot pass this image without leaving my comment. I think this image deserves each smiley awarded. You have captured this garden spider with great detail and clarity. The markings and patterns on the body are so beautiful and impressive and it actually looks as if was painted by hand. One cannot think that such a huge insect can have such tiny eyes, and this is really stunning. Even the detail of the spider's meal in the web is great. Your focus, sharpness and framework are splendidly done and your display is excellently handled. Thanks for sharing, and have an enjoyable day.
Best regards
Anna

Hallo Adrian,
What a stunning macro. The depth of field is perfect. The eyes are crystal-clear and the white cross on the back and the other markings are sharp. The indentations on the back are also well-defined and always make me think of a duvet in this type of orb-weaver. I also like the way you positioned the spider at a slight angle with her prey in front. Great work.

best wishes,
kessi

Fantastic and amazing example of Nature's law.

Witaj Adrian
Bardzo dobra fotografia. Dobrze skomponowana i z niezłą głębią ostrości. Może trochę w tle wyszły szumy, ale to nie przeszkadza. Poza tym bardzo mi się podoba, że tak dobrze widać zdobycz pająka w oprzędzie.
Gratulacje
Ania

Dear Adrian,
I will call it a great action shot by you. Very well captured the details of Araneus feasting on another insect.
Best wishes-Subhash Ranjan

Świetny moment! Tak się w świecie zwierząt robi mumie. A moze to kadr z LOTR - Powrót Króla?
Tak czy inaczej świetne zdjęcie. Szczególnie że na tak zróżnicowanej kompozycji nie ma prześwietlonych miejsc!
Pozdrawiam, Rafal

I like many of your shots, but this is the most impressive to me. The details and the close up are great, nice colours of this "ugly" garden inhabitant
cheers
